Porcelain, wire, mirror. 8.5" x 6.5" x 3", 3 lbs 7 oz. 2024.

“Ceramic Wall Art of bird nests. This ceramic process looks like real tree bark. A mirror is in the back, deep in the hollow. It creates an interactive aspect for the viewer. It is wired for easy hanging.”

Having a childhood rich with storytellers paved the way for my developing narrative and figurative pieces. My goal is to make artworks that keep adding to their stories over time. The characters I invent are often flawed, quirky or represent my thoughts about the various ways individuals cope in social settings.

My work is a mix of narrative figures sculptures, wall art and functional ware. I work with porcelain and stoneware.
