Each artist can submit up to 10 separate Art Pieces. Art Pieces can be replaced as they sell during this period. Please list your personal information and provide artwork details and images using the submission form below. The consignor can submit up to 4 images of each Art Piece, at least one of which is to be a detail image.
Please save your image files using the naming conventions below:
Label each image file with your last name, first name, title of artwork, and a _1 for the full image and _2 for detailed or alternate at the end of the file name.
Examples: Matthews_Barbara_Ice Star_1.jpg (for a full image) and Matthews_Barbara_Ice Star_2.jpg (for a detailed image).
Images of Art Pieces must have a 4:5 aspect ratio and be at least 2,000 pixels on the shortest side. Anything lower than 2,000 could result in blurry images.

We will first introduce new members
Each new member will be presented in alphabetical order by last name.
When your name appears, that will be the indicator to “unmute” and begin your short 2 minute presentation.
You will have 2 minutes to talk about your work. You may choose to read the short artist statement, talk a bit about yourself, career and/or the pieces showing on the screen. Please keep your comments to the 2 minute time allotment.
A volunteer will be clicking through your images. You will announce when to move on to the next image by saying NEXT.
At the end of your time, you will mute yourself and we will carry on with the program.
You can then relax and enjoy the rest of the program.
IMAGES:
Please upload images using this form. Images must be at least 72 DPI and be at least 2,000 pixels on the shortest side. Anything lower than 2,000 could result in blurry images.
Title each .jpg file with your last name, first name, title of piece and specify whether it is a full with a _1 at the end of the name or alternate or detail with _2 at the end as shown below.

Lynnwood Event Center Exhibition Prospectus
Exhibition Dates: June 30 - Dec 12, 2025

All NWDC members are welcome to submit work to be selected by Mary Adams, curator at Lynnwood Event Center.
All Artwork must have hardware to be wall-mounted. All Artworks will be installed using a vertical cable system. Artwork must be 50lbs/foot or less, based on the rail rating system. All Artworks hang against the wall. Some may tend to lean out about ½” at the top. Multiple small pieces less than 24" x 24" can be hung in a "cluster". No free-standing artworks or artwork requiring a pedestal will be accepted.

Commission 40% Lynwood, 10% NWDC, and 60% to the artist
Open to members of NWDC who have paid 2025 membership dues.
Work must be original in design and created after Jan 1, 2015.
Collaborative works are accepted. Artists submitting collaborative work may also submit individual work as a separate entry; but no artist may submit more than 3 entries total.

Accepted artwork that differs significantly from the image in the online submission will be disqualified. Please note: all NWDC artists are NOT guaranteed participation in the exhibition. The final judgment on inclusion in the exhibition will be made by staff or other designers of the museum.
Once work is submitted for jurying, it may not be withdrawn or sold outside of the exhibition until after the Dec 12, 2025 closing date.
Accepted work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. No accepted entry may be withdrawn or sold outside of the exhibition prior to the closing date.
Artist can submit two(2) artwork(s).
Artwork not previously shown at Lynnwood Event Center or on NWDC Online and made in 2015 or later is permitted.
Lynwood Event Center will facilitate the sale.
Work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. With entry of artwork, artist agrees to not withdraw the entry or sell the piece outside the exhibition prior to the closing date.
Lynnwood Event Center provides insurance for the work for its retail value while on the premises after it has been determined that sent work arrived unharmed.
Artists are financially responsible for the cost of shipping to the Lynnwood Event Center and for return shipping. Artists are responsible for all in-transit insurance.
Lynnwood Event Center is not responsible for loss or damage of work in transit to or from the Lynnwood Event Center.
In the event of damage in transit, the artist is responsible for settling all claims directly with the shipping carrier.
Artist name, artwork title, date, dimensions, materials, retail price, and photo credit submitted on entry form.
Artists must complete a consignment agreement and include with the art by Monday, June 30, 2025, more information will be provided after jurying.
Artist agrees to promote the exhibition via email, social media, websites, and so forth.
Artist agrees to sale of piece through the entire time of the exhibition
Artist agrees to make necessary arrangements with gallery representation if needed; any funds expected by galleries must come from the artist’s 60% share.
Artist agrees to delivery of artwork to the Lynwood Event Center by Monday, June 30, 2025, and pick up unsold work by December 16 & 17, 2025.

Image Specifications
Up to three images, per entry, per artwork, full and detailed/alternate.
Before you apply, please prepare your upload ready JPG files of professional quality images to the following specifications:
File format: JPEG or JPG only
Photos with 300 DPI and a width of at least 2,000 pixels on the shortest side displays optimally on the online web show, which is a 4:5 aspect ratio. Photos outside this range may be cropped to fit. See instructions for adjusting photo images in Window and Mac Photos at Members Only tab on NWDC website.
File Size: 5 MB or less

Publicity
The artist grants permission to use the image of artwork, as well as artist provided information about their artwork, for publication and promotional purposes by NWDC and Lynwood.
The images and statements may be used for publicizing in exhibition announcements, press materials, interpretive displays, advertising, website and social media posts, and other promotional activities.
NWDC and Lynwood shall have the right to publish any images and information furnished by the artist with no payment to the artist or to the photographer who produced the image. Artist must secure publication permission from the photographer, if copyrighted, and provide the same to NWDC and Lynwood.

As part of the 2025 exhibition schedule, NWDC will present a fiber art exhibition by current NWDC members. Members will submit artworks to be chosen by artist and curator, Ellen Ito. Artists must include multiple artworks (up to 3 artworks total).
Shipped art needs to arrive between March 15-18, and be sent to Tillinghast Postal Center in Lynwood, (not to the museum). Details will be shared upon acceptance
In-person art delivery is March 17 or 18. NWDC will identify a member volunteer to receive artworks and deliver to the museum all together. Which day (March 17 or 18) and time (10:00-5:00) will be arranged in the future.
Art return at the end of the exhibit is tentatively set for July 7. We would like to reverse the process of in-person delivered art, and have it picked up together by just one or two people.
ELIGIBILITY:
NWDC Artist Members who work in the following medium(s). Objects may include work in multiple forms not limited to quilts, assemblage, woven structures, clothing, basketry, sculpture, rugs, artist's books, and two-dimensional wall pieces. The processes used by the artists may include dyeing, painting and other surface design methods, quilting, weaving, basketry, machine and hand stitching including embroidery, etc.
Open to members of NWDC who have paid 2024 membership dues and create work in fibers.
Work must be original in design and completed within the last 3 years (Created after Sept 1, 2021).
Collaborative works are accepted. Artists submitting collaborative work may also submit individual work as a separate entry, but no artist may submit more than 3 entries total.
Wall-mounted submissions may not exceed 12’W x 9’H. Sculptural submissions may not exceed 5’W x 5’D x 9’H. Please be aware that the wall and floor space in the gallery is limited for the large number of individual pieces that will be shown in the exhibition. Please take this into consideration with your entry.
Very large installation pieces cannot be entered because of space limitations. (If you have questions about the size of a work, email nwdcexecdirector@gmail.com.) Work that requires site-specific alterations or custom-built pedestals will not be accepted.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTED ARTWORK
Artists will be notified of the piece accepted for the exhibition by March 7, 2025, via email with the Consignment form attached.
Once notified the artist will E-Mail the Consignment Form to Carla Funk at director@qfamuseum.org
PHOTO IMAGERY AND PUBLICITY
The artist grants permission to use the images of accepted works, as well as artist-provided information about their artwork, for publication and promotional purposes by NWDC and Exhibition Venue. The images and statements may be used for publicizing Fiber: Between The Lines in exhibition announcements, press materials, interpretive displays, advertising, website and social media posts, and other promotional activities.
NWDC and The Pacific Northwest Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum shall have the right to publish any such images and information furnished by the artist with no payment to the artist or to the photographer who produced the image. Artists must secure publication permission from the photographer, if copyrighted, and provide the same to NWDC and the Allied Arts Association.
