How-To Photo Tutorials
NWDC partnered with Contemporary Quilt Arts (CQA) to hire a professional photographer to produce these information packets. They are written with visual artists in mind. CQA hired the first documents: “Camera Class” and “Editing Class.” NWDC paid for “How to Photograph 3D Work.” The two groups shared. The copyrights belong to the two organizations. They are here for your benefit. Please respect copyrights and not share with anyone outside of NWDC. Click on the links and download the wealth of information.

Video Conference Instructions
All NWDC members are welcome and encouraged to attend board of directors meetings, both in-person meetings and virtual ones.
With the change from monthly meetings to quarterly ones, NWDC will no longer have a convenient time and location for physical in-person board meetings built into the monthly programming.
Not to worry, though! It was high time to explore video conferencing, as this will allow the board much more freedom to meet when it is convenient, AND have the regular participation of members flung too far to be able to come to physical meetings.
Having done considerable research into options for how this can happen, we settled on FreeConferenceCall.com as our video conferencing platform because it is the only FREE service that allows us to have more than 3 participants in a video conference. We can have up to 1,000 people on one call, in fact!
